Each January on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Americans rally in Washington DC and other cities to exercise our freedoms of speech and petition. Roe v. Wade was a Supreme Court decision decided in 1973 making abortion legal in the United States. The issue of abortion and a woman’s right to choose has remained controversial and politically charged ever since. It is crucial we continue having our voices heard!
